Cohoes is getting ready to Jingle Bell Rock the Block.

The city is teaming up with Playhouse Stage Company for a holiday concert series in Canal Square Park.

Saturday afternoon visitors to the Spindle City will be treated to free holiday music in Canal Square Park for five weeks in a row.

Jingle Bell Rock the Block will start on Small Business Saturday during the annual Soup Stroll. It will run every Saturday through Dec. 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
