During this Black History Month, an Islamic center held a celebration for one of our most famous civil rights leaders.

This annual unity celebration at the Al Fatemeh Center in Colonie honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Many faith and community leaders were there to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King.

The guests of honor at this event were Reverend Doctor Roxanne Jones Booth, who sang at the event, and her husband, Reverend Antonio Booth.
