Police identify bicyclist killed in Queensbury

Police have identified the bicyclist killed in a crash on Thursday in Queensbury.

The crash happened Thursday around 8 p.m. near the outlet stores on Route 9, when a man traveling on a bicycle was fatally struck by a car.

The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Ernest Louisaire. Police said a 16-year-old was driving a 2017 Dodge Caravan fan when he struck the back of the bicycle.

The crash is under investigation.
