Driver sentenced in deadly Saratoga County crash

A driver who was high on marijuana when she hit and killed a pedestrian was sentenced to one to three years in state prison on Friday.
Adrianne Leidel was under the influence of cannabis when she hit Harold and Janet Townsend as they walked near Hop City Road in Ballston.
Harold Townsend was killed in the March 2022 crash.
Janet was hurt. Leidel pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter.
