Falling tree zaps power to 4,000 Amsterdam customers

A falling tree knocked out power to around 4,000 customers in Amsterdam on Christmas morning.

The tree fell on power lines at Wallins Corners Road and Midline Road around 10:15 a.m., a National Grid spokesperson told NewsChannel 13

Power was expected to be restored to most customers by Sunday evening.
