Firefighter in Montgomery County being recognized for saving baby’s life

A firefighter who helped to save the life of a baby will be recognized Monday for his efforts.
Fort Plain is honoring firefighter Justin Smith for helping to resuscitate baby Kane.
Kane went down for his nap last month in Montgomery County.
Minutes later, he was unresponsive, and his lips were purple. Luckily, mom Makaila Belden knows CPR, and she worked on her son until emergency crews arrived.
