Firefighters save Schenectady home

A Schenectady house fire is under investigation.

Crews were called to 2217 Guilderland Avenue around 12:30 Thursday afternoon. They found smoke and flames on the second floor and the attic.

The fire was put out in about 50 minutes.

One firefighter was treated for minor injuries.

Investigators say the house is salvageable.

No one was home at the time.
