Capital Sweat Festival is a highly anticipated event in the local community and promises a dynamic experience filled with a wide array of activities focused on wellness, networking, and entertainment.
This festival brings together local trainers, offers healthy food options, facilitates valuable networking opportunities, and concludes with an exciting and energetic hip hop brunch.
The festival aims to promote physical fitness and overall well-being through a variety of fitness activities led by talented local trainers. Attendees can participate in engaging workout sessions such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), yoga, barre, spin, and more. The trainers are not only skilled professionals but also enthusiastic individuals who inspire and motivate participants to achieve their fitness goals.
Danny Pigliavento and Tommie Burch are the founders of Capital Sweat Festival. They are both local yoga trainers and understand how important fitness is in your everyday life.
“There’s so much to offer in the Capital Region in the fitness and wellness and health industry,” Burch said. “Our goal is to bring it all together and really foster a sense of community.”
The event is being held Saturday, Sept. 23 at Frog Alley Brewing in Schenectady. It’s from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., followed by a 90s Hip Hop Brunch that goes until 2 p.m.
“This is for people of all fitness levels,” Pigliavento said. “People who want to dabble in it and see if it’s something for them and people who do irons mans, it’s for people of all different levels.”
Tickets are $15 and include general admission, plus you can add on training and sessions being offered during the event.
