A man has pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a deadly crash, just as jury selection was getting underway in Saratoga County Court.
John Lincoln Lynch hit Paul Trombley on Main Street in South Glens Falls in February 2022. Trombley died.
Lincoln-Lynch agreed to a plea deal that carries one to three years in state prison. He will be sentenced on October 31.
A group of 100 jurors was sent home after the deal was agreed to.
The Trombley Family sent this statement to NewsChannel 13:
“We are all very thankful and relieved that justice is finally going to be served. A great amount of stress has been lifted from our shoulders. We are looking forward to his sentencing and putting this behind us. Hopefully, this will allow Paul to finally rest in peace.”
