Five charged in connection with assault at Hudson laundromat

Five people have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a man in Hudson last month.
Hudson Police responded to an assault in progress on March 7 just after 3:30 p.m. at a laundromat on Green Street. The suspects left the scene before officers arrived.
The victim was able to identify one of the attackers, police said. He was treated on scene for non-life-threatening injuries to his face and rib area. It also was reported that the victim’s cell phone was stolen during the assault.
Arrested were: Izaya J. Busch, 19, of Pittsfield, Mass.; 19-year-old Oziah J. Stroman, 19, of Hudson; and Terrell K. Simmons, 18, of Philmont. Two 17-year-olds also were arrested. One is from Hudson and another one is from Claverack.
They were all charged with first-degree gang assault, first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
