Five injured after juveniles crash into CDTA bus

Five people had minor injuries after police said juveniles driving a stolen vehicle crashed into a CDTA bus in Albany. The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Quail Street and Sherman Street. The occupants of the vehicle left the scene, Albany Police said.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Monday, July 15 at the intersection of Quail Street and Sherman Street. The occupants of the vehicle left the scene, Albany Police said.

The bus driver and four passengers on the bus had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police found three, 13-year-old suspects. Two of them were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and referred to probation. The third 13-year-old was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. He was placed in a non-secure facility.
