Florida man sentenced in connection to felony lane gang

We have an update about a national gang we’ve been reporting on for years now.

A man was sentenced to nearly five years for his role in the felony lang gang.
The U.S attorney’s office tells us 41-year-old Tyrone Parker from Florida, was sentenced after admitting he traveled across the country between 2019 and 2020 breaking into cars and stealing purses, wallets and other personal items, here in the Capital Region.

We told you over the summer of this group after Colonie Police made an arrest over the summer.

The felony lane gang is a loose network of people who steal debit cards and checks from parked cars or even gym lockers.
In this case – the U.S. attorney’s office says they have nine men charged in connection with robberies that happened between 2019 and 2020 including some men from Schenectady and Troy.
