Fort Edward man accused of stabbing man in the face

A Fort Edward man is accused of stabbing another man in the face during a domestic incident.

Robert A. Boyden, 44, allegedly stabbed the victim in the face with a pocketknife, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The victim was taken to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment. 

Boyden was charged with second-degree assault menacing with a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon.

He is also facing two counts of bail jumping for bench warrants from Glens Falls City Court.

Boyden was arraigned and is being held without bail in Washington County Jail. He will appear in Fort Edward Town Court at a later date.
