Police have arrested a Fort Edward man for allegedly trying to start a fire in a house.

Craig M. Olden, 43, was involved in a domestic dispute with a person at a residence on Perry Street on July 9, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

Three children under the age of 17 were there, police said.

No one was hurt.

Olden was charged with attempted arson, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was sent to Washington County Jail.
