Funeral for state police investigator who died from 9/11-related illness
Calling hours were held on Wednesday for retired State Police Investigator Patrick Hogan, who died from an illness stemming from his work at the World Trade Center after 9/11.
Hogan served with the state police for 22 years. He retired in 2018.
He was assigned to New York City to help with search and recovery efforts.
Hogan lived in North Greenbush. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
The funeral will be Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Troy.
Parts of Spring and Pawling avenues around the church will be closed to traffic prior to and during the funeral.
