Funeral to be held for Hudson Police officer who died while working

Friends, family and the community will honor the life of a Hudson police officer Thursday.

Senior Sgt. Christopher Filli died this past Friday after a medical emergency while on duty. He was 50.

Filli started at the Hudson Police Department in 2001.

He was promoted to senior sergeant in July 2022.

Instead of flowers, Filli’s family asks that donations be made to the Hudson Police Benevolent Association or St. Mary’s Church in Hudson.

Thursday’s services are at Holy Trinity Church in Hudson.
