New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand plans on helping people in rural areas by setting aside $50 billion for them.
She was in nearby Herkimer County on Tuesday, pushing the “Rebuild Rural America Act.”
The money would be used for infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and small businesses, her office said.
Gillibrand hopes the bill will address the challenges of those living in rural communities, she said.
