Group’s mission helps keep Capital Region kids safe in real, cyber world

Kids at Gordon Creek Elementary School in Ballston Spa learned how to stay safe in both the real world and the cyber world.

The annual Albany Ride for Missing Children is Sept. 20. That’s when more than 100 bike riders embark on a 100-mile journey to remind the Capital Region of longtime missing person cases.

Part of the mission for this group is to teach children how they can stay safe. They just made a stop at Gordon Creek Elementary School in Ballston Spa to have this important conversation with 3rd through 5th graders before summer break.

The presenter, retired Police Officer David Decelle, taught kids how to stay safe in the real world and the cyber world.

Orientation rides are taking place every weekend for anyone who wants to check it out.
