Guptill’s Roller Skating earns honor of being part of State Historic Business Preservation Registry
It is a name people in the Capital Region recognize, because it has been part of a lot of fun family memories.
Now, Guptill’s Roller Skating Rink is part of the State Historic Business Preservation Registry.
Guptill’s opened on Valentine’s Day nearly 74 years ago and it is the longest-running family-owned entertainment business in the Capital Region.
It is also recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest indoor roller-skating rink in the world. Local leaders came out to award the honor to the business on Saturday and say a few words.
