Halfmoon barbecue spot moving to new home

Rollin’ Smoke Barbecue will soon have a new home.
It’s moving into the old Halfmoon Sandwich & Salad Shoppe on Route 9.
The owner says the restaurant has outgrown its current spot in Halfmoon, which it’s called home since 2019.
You’ll still be able to enjoy brisket, pulled pork and chicken, but the owner says the restaurant will have lots of new menu options, outdoor activities, and they’ve also applied for a beer and wine license.
The goal is for Rollin’ Smoke to open in its new location by December 1.

The owner says he wanted to stay in Halfmoon, because the community has been so welcoming and supportive.
He says he just couldn’t think about leaving.
