Halfmoon man arrested for allegedly trying to hit children with car

A Halfmoon man has been arrested for allegedly trying to hit two children with his car Wednesday night.
Edward Storms, 30, was driving his vehicle recklessly when he intentionally tried to strike the pair of minors in the area of Ocean Spray Boulevard, New York State Police said.
This happened after Storms and the two juveniles got into an argument, according to officials.
Storms was charged with reckless endangerment and child endangerment.
He is scheduled to appear in Halfmoon Town Court on August 23.
