Halfmoon man faces assault, weapons charges after Troy traffic stop

A Halfmoon man is accused of having an illegal gun in Troy.
Troy Police officers pulled over a vehicle on Friday around 6:40 p.m.
Gladstone Greenwood, 31, was wanted by detectives on a warrant, police said. Police searched the vehicle and found a loaded handgun, they said.
Greenwood is facing several charges, including assault, robbery, grand larceny, criminal mischief and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned in Troy City Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail.
