Hochul, Gillibrand on trip to Puerto Rico as part of SUNY partnership

Gov. Kathy Hochul and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand are in Puerto Rico.

This comes a day after the governor announced a five-year partnership with SUNY and the University of Puerto Rico.

“This historic partnership between SUNY and the University of Puerto Rico is a testament to our shared vision for student success,” said Hochul in a statement. “The link between New York and Puerto Rico is grounded in the stories of young people, and the announcement affirms our commitment to the next generation of leaders.”
