One lane of New Scotland Road in Slingerlands will be closed for bridge work.

The work will take place between Kenwood Avenue and Mullens Road. The Albany County Public Works Department is installing a new sidewalk ruling under the bridge.

The bridge buckled in July and work to fix it has been ongoing.

The restriction will be in place daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Friday.

Because of weather delays, the rail trail bridge will be paved next Monday and expected to open to pedestrians on Tuesday.
