Lawmaker honored to be driving in Harris’ Pittsfield motorcade
It was quite the scene Saturday in Berkshire County’s biggest city, as Vice President and presumed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris visited.
NewsChannel 13’s Subrina Dhammi and Zach Richter were outside with the hundreds at the historic Colonial Theatre, where the vice president spoke for a private fundraiser, planned before she became a presidential candidate.
Massachusetts State Representative William “Smitty” Pignatelli drove one of the vans in the motorcade from the Westover Air Force Base about an hour away, to Pittsfield.
Pignatelli, who is preparing to retire from political office after 40 years, said the experience was eye-opening, and once in a lifetime.
Hear him talk about the unusual route through some residential neighborhoods by watching the video of Subrina Dhammi’s story.
