James says an investigation by her office found Message Communications violated state and federal laws by creating robocalls threatening and harassing black communities in New York and across the country.
They will pay 50 thousand dollars in restitution for damages caused to New Yorkers.
These funds will be distributed by James’ office to residents who believe they were victimized by the calls.
