Summer is almost over, and so is fair season.

But, there is still time to check out the Columbia County Fair.

This six-day event in Chatham is in its 183rd year.

There is something for people of all ages at the fair, including rides, animals, contests, and live entertainment.

If that is not enough to convince you to visit the fair, one of the directors of the Columbia County Agricultural Society told us something extra special happened at the fairgrounds this year.

She also talked about what else makes this fair unique.
