Germantown crash kills 18-year-old man

An 18-year-old man is dead after a crash in Germantown.

State police say Raphael McDonald of Athens slid off State Route 9G around 10:15 Thursday evening, and crashed into a pole.

He was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation, but police say they think McDonald was speeding.

No one else was in the car.
