Man, 22, arrested for assault in Malta

22-year-old Zachary R. Christie was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on August 30 for an assault that happened on May 31 in Malta.
He is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to someone else using a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument, said officials.
The assault happened on Sparrow Drive.
Authorities say he was charged with second-degree assault.
Christie was arraigned in the Saratoga County Court on September 3, and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further action in the matter.
