A deadly crash in Brunswick is under investigation.

Two cars crashed on Tamarac Road just past 11:30 Friday morning, police said.

Richard Turner, 66, of Troy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another person was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries. They are now in stable condition.

The road was closed for about seven hours from John Snyder Road to Old Siek Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
