Man accused of trying to meet up with child for sex in Colonie

State police say a man from Brooklyn came to Colonie, thinking he would meet up with who he believed was a 13-year-old to have sex.
Under arrest is 31-year-old Vyacheslav Kim.
State police charged him with attempted rape and patronizing a person for prostitution.
He was arrested with the help of the Troop G Computer Crime Unit and the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.
He was sent to the Albany County Jail.
