Malachi Grier, 19, was arrested after shots were fired in Schenectady, according to police.
Police said they were called to the 700 block of Albany Street around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 28, and found several shell casings. They saw Grier running with a gun a short time later, they said.
Grier was arrested after a brief foot chase. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with physical evidence and obstructing governmental administration.
No victims have been found.
