Man arrested for stealing from business twice in the same day
State Police accuse a man from Schenectady of stealing from a local business, twice in the same day!
He also stole the get-away car he used, police said.
The first break in happened at a business in Princetown at 9 a.m, police said.
40-year-old Edward Richardson is accused of taking about $2,000 worth of merchandise, before returning with an accomplice, hours later, and allegedly stealing more items worth $5,000.
Richardson now faces a list of charges, including grand larceny.
The vehicle used in the crimes was found in Rotterdam – and that it had been reported stolen in Schenectady the day before, police said.
