Man arrested for stealing from victim held against their will

A man from Sharon in Schoharie County was arrested, accused of stealing from a victim after holding them against their will with a firearm.

Brendon Brizzee forced the victim out of their vehicle, while physically assaulting them and taking multiple items, state police said.

He then waved a gun at the victim until they were able to get away hours later. 

After that incident, Brizzee then stole from the victim’s home in Fort Plain while they were not home, police said.

Brizzee was arraigned and is in jail Tuesday night.
