Man charged after shooting two dogs with illegal gun
A 24-year-old is facing charges Friday evening after he shot two dogs Friday morning and shot himself in the foot.

Albany police were called to Second Street and Lexington Avenue around 6 a.m.
24-year-old Nasir Abbot was attacked by 2 dogs nearby and shot both of them with an illegally possessed gun, police said.
Both dogs were sent to a hospital, where one had to be put down due to serious injuries.
Albany Medical Center says Abbot was treated for minor injuries to his foot, as well as for several dog bites.
He is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
