A man convicted in a deadly 2012 Northway crash was ordered back to jail by a county court judge.

Dennis Drue appeared in Saratoga County Court. It involved him not adhering to a stipulation of his manslaughter conviction more than a decade ago.

Drue was not supposed to operate any motor vehicle, whether he owned it or not, that did not have an ignition interlock device installed.

A hearing is now scheduled for June 5.

Drue was charged last month with false personation, after being found in Crossings Park after hours in Colonie, and then gave police a fake name. The charge was later dropped after his attorney pointed out Drue gave his real name when an officer gave him one more chance.

Drue served nine years in prison for a 2012 Northway crash that killed two Shenendehowa students, and injured two other teens. He had been driving recklessly and was under the influence at the time.

He remains on parole until 2028.
