Man charged with illegal gun possession after Albany fight

A 34-year-old man who was involved in a fight in Albany Sunday has been arrested after he illegally possessed a handgun. 

The altercation happened at around 12:15 a.m. at the 500 block of First Street.

When officers arrived, they found Algun Inman had a 9mm handgun that was located in the waistband of his pants. 

Inman was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.

He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and sent to the Albany County Jail.
