A man is now under arrest in connection to a string of car thefts in Colonie.

Christopher White, 36, from Cohoes rode his bike through several neighborhoods near the Colonie Mohawk Hudson Bike Path, and stole things from unlocked cars: cash, gift cards, and other personal property, police said.

This all dates back to Christmas, police said.

White is charged with grand larceny and petit larceny. He was sent to jail and is due back in court at a later date.
