Man gets 10 years in prison for Schuylerville stabbing

A Saratoga man was sentenced on Tuesday to 10 years in prison for  stabbing a person in the neck with a knife.

Ryan Danaher, 37, had pleaded guilty in July to two counts of first-degree assault and menacing for the Nov. 17 incident in Schuylerville. Police said Danaher knew the victim, who had serious injuries.

Danaher also must serve 5 years of post-release supervision.
