Man in Saratoga Springs accused of fleeing police at DWI checkpoint

A man was sent to jail after a police chase.
Javier Dalmasi, 28, from Ballston Spa sped away from a DWI checkpoint on Ballston Avenue, police said.
They chased him into Milton near the Kayadeross Acres neighborhood.
Dalmasi ran from them before being arrested, said police.
He is now facing several charges including fleeing from a police officer, driving while impaired and reckless driving.
A man was sent jail after a police chase.
He was held in the custody of the Saratoga County sheriff in lieu of bail.
