The Washington County Sheriff’s Office tells us it happened minutes before noon in the area of Broadway and State Route 4 at Terrace.
A Jeep Cherokee was found on top of a guardrail and crashed into a utility pole along the road with low hanging power lines, deputies said.
The driver, 26-year-old Matthew Lozada was sent to a hospital, where he’s now recovering from minor injuries.
Broadway was closed to all traffic until around 3:42 p.m. on July 13, then opened to a single, alternating lane as utility crews continued extensive repairs.
Deputies are investigating whether speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
Right now the accident remains under further investigation and charges are possible, police said.
