Marlon Anderson running for Albany mayor

A local activist has announced his bid for Albany mayor on Saturday.

Marlon Anderson held an event at the Washington Avenue branch of the Albany Public Library Saturday afternoon to announce the bid.

Anderson has run for Albany mayor at least twice before.

Mayor Kathy Sheehan is not running for re-election this time.

Other candidates include Albany County Legislator Carolyn McLaughlin, Dan Cerutti, and Chief City Auditor Dorcey Applyrs.
