McDonald’s to remove self-serve soda machines in all restaurants by 2032

McDonald’s is getting rid of self-serve soda machines.

The transition will be completed by 2032. Customers will then have to ask for refills at the counter.

McDonald’s isn’t saying whether financial or health reasons led to the decision.

According to reports, several places in Illinois have already made the change.

Owners there say food safety, theft and a lack of dine-in customers led to the move.
