Mechanicville man arrested following multiple larcenies from vehicles

Mechanicville Police say they arrested Zachary R. Gaulke, 27, of Mechanicville following an investigation involving several larcenies into vehicles.
Police say they have received many reports of larcenies from vehicles in the community.
Officers say found Gaulke in the act while on patrol on Friday and took him into custody.
Gaulke was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny.
Mechanicville Police Chief Rabbitt says “we’re grateful for the assistance from residents, but remind everyone to continue securing their property by locking vehicle doors and keeping valuables out of sight if left inside.”
Police added that more charges are expected to be filed.
