Missing man from Colonie found safe

A man missing from Colonie has been found safe, said police.

Gary Washburn had been missing since Jan. 25.

Police and family were concerned about his mental health. They had thought he had possibly gone to Connecticut, police said.

Out of respect for Mr. Washburn’s privacy, police told NewsChannel 13 they will not be releasing where he was found.
