Montgomery County man accused of speeding in U-Haul while drunk

A Montgomery County man is accused of driving a U-Haul while drunk.

Christian Lopez was pulled over by sheriff’s deputies on State Highway 5 in Amsterdam just after midnight Friday morning.

Lopez was driving the 26-foot U-Haul at a high speed, said investigators.

Lopez was arrested, and charged with DWI. He will have to appear in Amsterdam City Court.
