Jury selection continues in Rensselaer County Court in the attempted murder trial of Zymeir Walton.

More than 100 jurors are being vetted.

Walton is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend in the parking lot of Hudson Valley Community College on November 3, 2022.

Both Walton and the victim were students there, and had a prior relationship.

The victim was severely injured but survived the attack.

Walton has maintained that the stabbing was in self-defense, saying he was attacked first.
