Mother accused of killing Baby Moses appears in court for a status hearing.
The mother who admitted to leaving her baby to die in Washington Park in Albany will soon learn her fate.
Keri Mazzuca is set to be sentenced in Albany County Court on Friday morning.
NewsChannel 13 reported in February that she pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of her infant, named Baby Moses.
The case first unfolded in the summer of 1997, and became one of the Capital Region’s most talked about criminal cases.
It remained a mystery until 27 years later, when Albany detectives were finally able to match DNA evidence from the child to Mazzuca.
NewsChannel 13 will be in the courtroom on Friday to tell you what happens.
