National Grid expects to complete power restoration by late Thursday evening

All National Grid customers who lost power in Tuesday’s storms should have it back by 11:30 Thursday night.

National Grid said around lunchtime on Thursday that 88% of the 121,000 affected customers had been restored.

The storms included an EF0 tornado in Chestertown, Warren County. That’s the weakest kind of tornado on a scale of EF0 to EF5, but could still packed winds of up to 85 mph.
