New poll finds Hochul’s approval rating at new high

Gov. Kathy Hochul is starting off 2023 with her highest approval rating ever, according to a new Siena poll.
Voters approve of the job Hochul is doing as governor – 56% to 36%. That’s up from 49% from last month.
More than three-quarters of Democrats approve of the job she’s doing, while more than three-quarters of Republicans disapprove.
